Although I'm a fourth-generation farmer in Central Valley, I've seen firsthand how our local leaders understand their community and farmers' unique challenges better than anyone in Sacramento or Washington ever could. 

Local leaders know how to solve their water issues, which is the key to keeping our farms productive and grocery prices affordable. That's why I've coauthored the WATER for California Act — to put control back in the hands of those who know our needs best.

From listening to them, I secured Valley priorities to improve our water supply significantly.  By empowering our local leaders to manage our water resources, we can ensure our communities get the support they deserve. This means lower grocery prices, more jobs, and a stronger Valley.
