WASHINGTON - Today, Congressman John Duarte (CA-13) issued a statement condemning Hamas' war against Israel.

"Yesterday, Hamas launched 5,000 rockets into Israel, one of our most important allies. I stand with the Israeli people as they protect their homeland from these unprovoked attacks," said Rep. Duarte.

"As a war begins between Hamas and Israel, America is showing itself to be weak in the presidency and distracted in Congress. We need to get back to work so we can focus on important issues such as this. We need to do the job the people elected us to do."
