WASHINGTON — Today, the Peace Officers Research Association of California announced their support for Congressman John Duarte’s new bill which seeks to combat the spread of fentanyl and other illegal drugs in the Central Valley and across the United States.

Representing over 80,000 public safety members and 955 public safety associations, PORAC's backing underscores the significance of this legislation in empowering law enforcement to effectively combat drug trafficking in our communities. I remain committed to advancing this legislation," said Rep. Duarte.

PORAC joins a list of law enforcement groups who support Rep. Duarte’s bill. They include, but are not limited to, the National HIDTA Director's Association, National Narcotic Officers’ Associations’ Coalition (NNOAC), Major County Sheriffs of America (MCSA) and Association of State Criminal Investigative Agencies (ASCIA).
